CAMDEN, NJ (WPVI) — New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill met with first responders Tuesday to thank them for their hard work following Monday’s flash flooding.
Her visit took place at the Camden Fire Administration Building.

Camden’s mayor says the city saw the worst flooding since Super Storm Sandy in 2012.
Governor Sherrill says the city was prepared for yesterday’s rain, even receiving some life-saving equipment just a week ago.
That included a high-water vehicle, which helped respond to more than 1,000 calls for service.
She says first responders are continuing to assess the damage in order to request federal funding to help with the cleanup.
