OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) — A Philadelphia man who pleaded guilty to placing hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City Boardwalk was sentenced on Monday.
Harold Perkins learned he will have to spend a year in jail. He will also have to serve five years of probation.
Prosecutors said Perkins placed six hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City boardwalk last year.
The devices captured footage of multiple victims – including children – using the restrooms, investigators said.

Authorities said Perkins was arrested on June 20, 2025, after investigators used license plate reader technology to identify and locate him.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of invasion of privacy back in May.
