Here U Are Chinese Webcomic Receives Anime Adaptation, Streams on Crunchyroll

An anime adaptation of the manhua Chinese-language webcomic series Here U Are has been announced during Crunchyroll‘s showcase panel at Anime Expo 2026. The streaming service will simulcast the anime when it premieres at an unspecific date.

A teaser visual and trailer of the anime have also been released. 

Crunchyroll also unveiled an English-subtitled version of the trailer at its showcase panel. 

Tomoe Makino (Aharen-san wa Hakarenai Seasons 1-2, Kotaro Lives Alone) is directing the anime adaptation, with Aiki Kawamura as series composer, Asami Hayakawa (OSHI NO KO  Seasons 1-2 main animator) as character designer, and Shinya Kiyozuka as music composer. Rouseact is in charge of the animation production. 

Meanwhile, the main voice cast will star Yuki Inoue as Yang Yu and Ryota Suzuki as Huan Li. 

The Boys’ Love webcomic series by D JUN was serialized on Dongman Entertainment Corp’s Dongman Manhua platform from November 22, 2017 to December 22, 2020. Line Manga publishes the series in Japan, while Line Webtoon releases it in English digitally. Aloha Comics licensed the manga for English print publication. 

Crunchyroll describes the main premise of Here U Are as: 

Yang Yu is a university upperclassman who’s loved by everyone, and Huan Li is a quiet, antisocial new student. The two of them get off on the wrong foot, but despite clashing and repelling one another at times, they are still drawn to each other.
