Voice actresses Fairouz Ai and Honoka Inoue are joining the voice cast of the upcoming The World’s Strongest Witch: I’m Starting My Free Life in a World Where Only I Can See the Online Strategy Guide. The TV anime series is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in October 2026.
Ai (who voiced Pride Royal Ivy in the second season of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen) will voice the red-haired Elmina, while Inoue (who voiced Kaoruko Waguri from The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity) will voice the elf princess Erna.
Both Elmina and Erna (center and right below) are highlighted in a newly released character trailer (shown above), along with a character design visual that features the show’s protagonist.
Ai and Inoue join previously announced voice cast member Azusa Tachibana, who will play the main character Lorna Hermit.
Joji Furuta (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments) is directing the anime series, with Shoji Yonemura (Hotel Inhumans, Bad Girl) as series composer and Yuki Morimoto as character designer. Bridge and its subsidiary Aisle are in charge of the animation production.
The fantasy light novel series is written by Mochimaru Sakaki and illustrated by riritto. It was first published by Square Enix’s SQEX Novel imprint on December 7, 2022 and has released five volumes as of May 2025. The light novels’ Japanese title is Seikai Saikyo no Majo, Hajimemashita ~Watashi dake “Koryaku Site” o Mireru Sekai de Jiyu ni Ikimasu~. The series began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in May 2022.
The light novels have also inspired a manga series by Tamaki Toga that was launched by Kodansha in May 2023.
