The Demons Are Planning Something Good TV anime adaptation is scheduled to begin airing in 2027. The announcement was accompanied by a teaser visual and main cast details.
The anime will star Junichi Suwabe as Renbinkyo (Lord Mercysnare), Wakana Kuramochi as Letze, and Haruka Shiraishi as Merisha.

The Demons Are Planning Something Good (Ma no Monotachi wa Kuwadateru) adapts the KADOKAWA-published manga written by Takuji Kato and illustrated by Gashigashi. Yen Press describes the manga as such:
People don’t truly appreciate the amount of R&D that goes into running an evil army of darkness. I mean, you can’t just let the heroes waltz up to the final boss unscathed, can you? Do you know how much logistical work it takes to keep the traps armed? To come up with new, innovative methods to torment, maim, and humiliate humans? From slime that only melts clothes to titillating tentacles that squeeze you just right, follow along with the Demon Lord’s underlings as they devise, concoct, and scheme up exciting new ways to strike fear in adventurers’ hearts!
The anime is directed by Takuya Asaoka (VTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream, Immoral Guild) at TNK.
The Demons Are Planning Something Good manga began serialization on Dra Dra Sharp in 2023 and will get its fourth volume on July 9, 2026. Kato originally created The Demons Are Planning Something Good as an X/Twitter comic.
