A trailer and key visual for the Overgeared TV anime, which was previously revealed to be debuting this October, have been released.

The anime also received new details about its cast. The newly announced names are Saya Fukuzumi as Euphemia and Shuntaro Takayama as Huroi.

Additionally, Crunchyroll announced that it will be streaming the show.

Overgeared (Tempal: Item no Chikara) is based on the webtoon drawn by Team Argo. Tapas provides the following synopsis for the source material:

Shin Youngwoo (a.k.a. Grid), an unlucky man in life and a low-level player in the popular VR game “Satisfy,” finds a powerful item that earns him a rare legendary class title: “Pagma’s Successor.” He’s now a skilled blacksmith who can forge unique weapons and equip the game’s most powerful gear. Grid resolves to use his new abilities to achieve fame and fortune, but as his very existence begins to stir up trouble in Satisfy, he realizes that life as a legend may be more than he bargained for….

Ayaka Kono (Sword Art Online Progressive: Scherzo of Deep Night) is directing the anime at J.C.STAFF. Other staff include Kenta Ihara (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) as series composer and Ryosuke Tanigawa as character designer.

The cast includes Tatsumaru Tachibana as Grid and Asami Seto as Yura.

The webtoon adapts the web novel by Saenal, with Monohumbug being credited with the adaptation.
