Voice actress M.A.O has been announced as the latest voice cast member for the upcoming Magical Explorer TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan in Fall 2026.

M.A.O will voice the white-haired maid character Nanami, who is also highlighted in a newly updated teaser visual for the anime. She recently voiced the Goddess from the My Ribdiculous Reincarnation TV anime series.

She joins a previously announced voice cast that include Nobunaga Shimazaki as Kosuke Takioto, Ai Kakuma as Ludie, and Saori Onishi as Yukine Mizumori.
Kazuki Ohashi is directing the anime series, with Satoko Sekine (Mysteria Friends) as series composer, Ryosuke Kimiya as character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as music composer. WHITE FOX is handling the animation production.
The isekai fantasy light novel series is written by Irisu and illustrated by Noboru Kannatsuki. It was first published under Kadokawa’s Sneaker Bunko imprint on November 1, 2019 and has released 13 volumes as of April 2026. The series began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in February 2018.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Yukari Higa was launched in August 2020.

Yen Press releases the light novels and manga series in English under the title Magical Explorer: Reborn as a Side Character in a Fantasy Dating Sim. It describes the main synopsis of the light novels as:
