Abrams ComicArt’s Kana imprint announced this week that it has licensed illustrator and artist Qtoniagi’s Hotel Astrology book for release in fall 2027. It was originally released in Japan in April 2024.

Hotel Astrology is described by Japanese Creative Bookstore as an illustration book that “explains horoscopes and Western astrology in an easy-to-understand manner for those unfamiliar with them.” It features a guide on reading horoscopes, along with a glossary, and describes the “characteristics of the 12 zodiac signs” and “characteristics of the 10 planets and their combinations with the 12 zodiac signs.”
Kana has previously licensed manga series such as Jagaaan, Within The Villainess, My Dear, A Mystery For You, and Antengai: Twilight Metropolis earlier this past May.
In February, the publisher announced the license acquisition of four manga series for release this fall, which include Inio Asano’s Before Dawn and the End of the World, Molicross’s The Gentleman, the Cat, and the Tearoom, Masasumi Kakizaki’s Hideout, and Takeda Kazuyoshi’s Bye-Bye Beanbag.
