Penguin Random House imprint Ink Pop announced the license acquisition of several manga and manhwa titles at Anime Expo 2026, including the slice of life My Neighbor Yokai manga series.

My Neighbor Yokai

Release Date: Spring 2027
The first volume will be released in paperback and jacketed hardcover formats. Its Japanese title is Tonari no Yokai-san.
The manga inspired a 13-episode TV anime adaptation in 2024 from LIDENFILMS. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series.
Synopsis:
Yokai, Japanese creatures of myth, come to life in this cozy series following a talking cat and his neighborhood friends.
