The Girls und Panzer franchise features cute girls engaging in tank combat as a sport. Girls und Panzer das Finale is a six-part theatrical series that began in 2017, after the 2012 Girls und Panzer TV anime and a 2015 anime movie. ACTAS produces the anime, with its in-house studio STUDIO Katyusha currently handling the CG.

Girls und Panzer das Finale — Part 5 will screen with the pilot of a tankette-focused spin-off titled Girls und Panzer: Princess Samurai (Girls und Panzer: Ribbon no Musha). The spin-off is based on the KADOKAWA-published manga by Takeshi Nogami and Takaaki Suzuki, where battle-craving high schooler Shizuka Tsurugi and her partner partake in the Tankathlon event.

A four-part anime adaptation of the 4-koma Girls und Panzer manga Motto Love Love Sakusen desu! was released in Japanese theaters between December 2025 and April 2026.
