The 30th Fantasia International Film Festival announced that it will be hosting premieres and screenings for several anime titles, including the upcoming films GROTESQQQUE and Cherry and Virgin, as well as numerous shorts for its Anime no Bento 2026 section.
The list of anime films, series, and shorts that will be screened at Fantasia include:

Anime no Bento 2026
The 2026 edition showcases brand-new animated shorts from Nippon Animation and STUDIO4ºC, as well as rising companies from Gemstone and ETERNA.

- • Ambivalent Garden — Nagomi Ueno (director) — World Premiere
- • Don’t Dodge Life — Taka Yuki (director) — World Premiere
- • Dust of the Simulacrum — Eit Mitsufuchi — World Premiere

- • Foxing: Kitsuné-tsuki — Takeru Shinozuka — World Premiere
- • Future Kid Takara Episode 1 – “The Child from the Future” — Yuta Sano — International Premiere
Fantasia will also host the North American premiere of the Taiwanese animated anthology film Bliss: Beyond the Edge of Time, as well as the world premiere of The Origin of Ultraman documentary and two episodes of the Strange: Junji Ito’s Tales for Sleepless Nights anthology series.
