Bushiroad has revealed a new trailer and “fairy visual” for the ongoing BanG Dream! Yume Mita TV anime series after the broadcast of its fifth episode on July 16, 2026. The anime premiered in Japan with its first three episodes on July 2, 2026.
The “fairy visual” and third main trailer spotlight the seemingly cheerful, but deceptive Viola, who becomes involved with members of the Mugendai Mewtype virtual band.

The anime’s official website also features an updated dark design matching the newly released visual.
Tomomi Umetsu (storyboard artist and director for BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! Episode 10 and Houshou Marine’s “How About Paipai Mask?” music video) is directing the anime series, with Hiroshi Morita (“How about Paipai Mask?” music video CG supervisor, BanG Dream! Morfonication CG director and episode director) as assistant director, Midori Goto (Mr. Villain’s Day Off series composer and scriptwriter, BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and BanG Dream! Ave Mujica co-scriptwriter) as series composer and co-scriptwriter, Osamu Nobusawa (BanG Dream! Ave Mujica co-character designer) and Mochipuyo (BanG Dream! Ave Mujica co-character designer) as character designers, and Takuya Chanohara (BanG Dream! Ave Mujica and BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! co-animation character designer) and Yuka Hachimori (BanG Dream! Ave Mujica and BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! co-animation character designer) as animation character designers. Nichika Line is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the members of Mugendai Mewtype include vocalist Arale Nakamichi, guitarists Nonoka Miyanaga and Ritsu Minetsuki, keyboardist Fuji Miyako, and DJ and manipulator Yuno Sengoku. The members’ names are the same as their characters in the anime.
Mugendai Mewtype began its activities in 2023 and released its first album, Progress Sign, in December 2025. Its members also have individual YouTube channels with VTuber-style content.
Bushiroad’s BanG Dream! multimedia franchise began in 2015 with a manga series, followed by a TV anime series in 2017. Some upcoming BanG Dream! anime include the BanG Dream! Ave Mujica prima aurora anime film, which debuts in Fall 2026, and the TV anime sequel to BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! and Ave Mujica – The Die is Cast –, which begins airing in January 2027.
