A key visual and main trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Bananya 10th anniversary special Bananya At-Home Party, which will begin airing in Japan on July 10, 2026.

The anime special will have an early world premiere screening from Crunchyroll at Anime Expo 2026 on July 4, 2026 to coincide with the first Bananya anime series, which released its debut episode on July 4, 2016. It will then begin streaming on Crunchyroll on July 9, 2026. 

New voice cast members have also been announced for Bananya At-Home Party, which include Atsumi Tanezaki as Stray Bananya, Yuina Ito as Little Bananya, and Toshiyuki Morikawa as Tall Bananya. 

They join returning cast members Yuki Kaji, who reprises his role as the titular Bananya and will voice several other characters, and Ayumu Murase, who will once again voice Baby Sweet and additional characters. 

Meanwhile, the theme song for the 10th anniversary anime special is “nyanderful nyanderland by TAMAchan. 

Kyo Yatate is serving as the director for Bananya At-Home Party, after previously directing the anime’s first two seasons and Bananya Around the World, and is also the animation character designer. Masahiro Takata (Let This Grieving Soul Retire! director) is also returning as the scriptwriter. TMS Entertainment Studio 6 and Lesprit are in charge of the animation production. 

Bananya is a series of animated shorts produced by TMS Entertainment and Gathering, who worked on the first two seasons. The first season aired from July 4, 2016 to September 26, 2016 for 13 episodes. A follow-up titled Bananya and the Curious Bunch aired from October 1, 2019 to December 24, 2019. Another anime titled Bananya Around the World ran for 13 episodes from October 21, 2024 to December 16, 2024. Crunchyroll is streaming all three Bananya anime series in select countries and territories worldwide.

The main synopsis of Bananya At-Home Party is described as: 

When I open my eyes, a bizarre world spreads before me. I spot strange kitties inside bananas… Bananyas, if you will. Hold on a moment, what is going on? Did I turn into a Bananya myself?! Through the forest, over the mountain, and across the land, we set out on a journey with the Bananyas in search of missing treasures.
