The official Twitter/X and website for the upcoming My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! TV anime series has announced its main ending theme song. The anime will premiere in Japan on October 3, 2025.
The ending theme for the series “Shirogarasu” by Japanese singer Nowlu. It was first announced at an advanced screening for the anime’s first three episodes at Shinjuku Piccadilly Cinema this past Sunday.

Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion) is directing the anime, with Hiroshi Onogi (Blue Archive: The Animation [co-credits], Idol Memories) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Yukie Suzuki (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) as character designer. J.C.STAFF is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars:

The anime adaptation is based on the fantasy light novel series written by Meikyou Shisui and illustrated by tef. It was first published by Hobby Japan’s HJ Novels imprint on May 19, 2021 and has released 12 volumes as of April 2025. The series began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in April 2020.
J-Novel Club licensed the light novels for digital release in English under the title Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon (with the full English title being Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World).
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae was launched in May 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga for release in English.
