Singer-songwriter Haruno has released a music video for the song “DAYBYE,” with the video following an animated character with a frog hat as they venture through real footage of Gifu Prefecture’s Gero Onsen.

The creator in charge of this blend of anime and real life is Kairi, who’s no stranger to placing animated people in real environments. Kairi said on X/Twitter that the footage of Gero Onsen was filmed last August.

In addition to the general scenery of Gero Onsen, the “DAYBYE” video features attractions like its hand and foot springs and Charlie Chaplin statue. The character is also shown to be eating what looks to be Hida beef nigiri towards the end.
