Niigata-headquartered tech company NAMICS, which develops and manufactures electrochemical materials, has released an animated brand movie produced by CONTRAIL<\/strong>, the animation planning and production studio-turned-MAPPA<\/strong> brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n The Sono Kagaku wa, Subete ni Ai o Tsunagu<\/em> short animation, which follows a man and his robot companion, was storyboarded and directed by Masatsugu Nagasoe<\/strong>, who also created the original character designs. Other staff include Tatsuo Ryuno<\/strong> (Showa Monogatari<\/em>) as character designer, Yuji Kaneko<\/strong> (Tengoku-Daimkayo<\/em>, L\u2019\u00e9toile de Paris en Fleur<\/em>) as background art director, and MAPPA president Manabu Otsuka<\/strong> as executive producer.<\/span><\/p>\n Sono Kagaku wa, Subete ni Ai o Tsunagu <\/em>is the latest CONTRAIL-produced short animation to have come out this year, after the Watashi no Obaa-chan-hen\u00a0<\/em>commercial for miso company Marukome and the Fukufuku no Chizu\u00a0<\/em>promotional anime for Fukushima Prefecture.<\/span><\/p>\n CONTRAIL was created in 2019 to produce full-length movies directed by In This Corner of the World<\/em>\/Black Lagoon<\/em>\u2018s\u00a0Sunao Katabuchi<\/strong>, with its first listed credit being\u00a0production assistance for 2019\u2019s In This Corner (And Other Corners) Of The World<\/em>, the extended version of Katabuchi\u2019s MAPPA-produced In This Corner Of The World\u00a0<\/em>film.
