{"id":36481,"date":"2026-07-15T02:44:51","date_gmt":"2026-07-15T06:44:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/keith-carradine-joins-brie-larson-horror-pic-skeletons\/"},"modified":"2026-07-15T02:44:51","modified_gmt":"2026-07-15T06:44:51","slug":"keith-carradine-joins-brie-larson-horror-pic-skeletons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/keith-carradine-joins-brie-larson-horror-pic-skeletons\/","title":{"rendered":"Keith Carradine Joins Brie Larson Horror Pic &#8216;Skeletons&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yet another name has joined the cast of<strong> JT Mollner<\/strong>\u2018s (Strange Darling) creature feature, Skeletons. <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/07\/keith-carradine-brie-larson-skeletons-1236981998\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/07\/keith-carradine-brie-larson-skeletons-1236981998\/\">Deadline<\/a> reports that <strong>Keith Carradine<\/strong> (pictured above in the <em>Fargo<\/em> series) has signed onto the project. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carradine joins<strong> John Goodman<\/strong> (<em>10 Cloverfield Lane<\/em>), <strong>Willa Fitzgerald\u00a0<\/strong>(<em>Strange Darling<\/em>),\u00a0<strong>Ione Skye<\/strong>\u00a0(the newest\u00a0<em>Anaconda<\/em>), and\u00a0<strong>Daith\u00ed \u00d3 Harag\u00e1in<\/strong>\u00a0(\u201cTrespasses\u201d), alongside stars\u00a0<strong>Brie Larson<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Captain Marvel<\/em>) and\u00a0<strong>Kyle Gallner<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Strange Darling<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Sony Pictures project is described as \u201ca modern take on the creature horror film told from the perspective of a young boy who slowly begins to discover that his beloved parents are hiding a disturbing secret about his mother\u2019s true nature.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mollner will direct and rewrite the script initially written by\u00a0<strong>Brian Duffield<\/strong>\u00a0(<em>Whalefall<\/em>), who based it on a short story by\u00a0<strong>Phillip Fracassi<\/strong>. Mollner wrote the script for Stephen King\u2019s excellent adaptation of\u00a0<em>The Long Walk<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keith is the son of legendary actor John Carradine. He\u2019s appeared in numerous projects, ranging from things such as <em>Thieves Like Us<\/em> and<em> Nashville<\/em> to <em>Cowboys &amp; Aliens<\/em>, <em>Dexter,<\/em> and <em>Fear the Walking Dead<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project comes from FilmNation Entertainment\u2019s production label Infrared, J.J. Abrams\u2019 Bad Robot Productions, and Assemble Media. Producers are Drew Simon, Abrams, Jon Cohen, and Jack Heller. Executive producers are Assemble\u2019s Caitlin de Lisser-Ellen and Duffield, as well as Roy Lee and Steven Schneider.
