It’s a big day for The Walt Disney Company, which earned 31 Daytime Emmy Nominations.<\/p>\n
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences made the announcements for its 53rd Daytime Emmys Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n
“General Hospital” has a total of 13 nominations, including Outstanding Daytime Drama Series, Writing, Casting, Directing, Camerawork, Lighting, Hairtsyling and acting nods for Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), Amanda Setton (Brook Lynn Quartermaine), Braedyn Bruner (Emma Scorpio-Drake) Giovanni Mazza (Gio Palmieri), Jeff Kober (Cyrus Renault) and Eva LaRue (Natalia Rogers-Ramirez).<\/p>\n
“Live with Kelly and Mark” has nominations for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series as well as Art Direction \/ Set Decoration \/ Scenic Design.<\/p>\n
“The View” is also up for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro are up for Oustanding Daytime Talk Series Host. They’ll compete with Tamron Hall in that category.<\/p>\n
“The Tamron Hall Show” has a nod for Outstanding Main Title and Graphic Design for a Daytime Program as well.<\/p>\n
“Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” showed off its magic, earning nominations for Cinematography or Camerawork for a Daytime Program, Technical Direction and Video for a Daytime Program, and Outstanding Daytime Special. Hulu’s “Living Proof” and “Unleashing Hope: The Power of Service Dogs for Children with Autism” are also nominated for Daytime Special.<\/p>\n
“Superskilled with Eva zu Beck” on National Geographic has four nominations, including Outstanding Travel and Adventure Program, Daytime Personality – Non-Daily, Directing for a Daytime Non-Studio Non-Fiction Series and Cinematography or Camerawork for a Daytime Program.<\/p>\n
ESPN’s “TrueSouth”: Ocean Springs, MS also earned a nomination for Cinematography or Camerawork.<\/p>\n
“The Young and the Restless” and “Beyond The Gates,” “Days of Our Lives,” “The Drew Barrymore Show” and “The Kelly Clarkson Show” are among the other shows scoring multiple nominations.<\/p>\n
The 53rd annual Daytime Emmys will be handed out October 30th in Hollywood.<\/p>\n
