Through pioneering 35mm preservation collectives like <\/span>Exhumed Films<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and massive regional gatherings like <\/span>Monster-Mania Con<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, South Jersey has cemented its reputation as a premier destination and a spiritual home for the global horror community\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The American drive-in theater was invented in South Jersey when Richard Hollingshead Jr. opened the world\u2019s very first outdoor automotive cinema in Camden, New Jersey, on June 6, 1933.
