{"id":35584,"date":"2026-07-12T12:38:13","date_gmt":"2026-07-12T16:38:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/mob-psycho-100-gets-new-animation-for-10th-anniversary\/"},"modified":"2026-07-12T12:38:13","modified_gmt":"2026-07-12T16:38:13","slug":"mob-psycho-100-gets-new-animation-for-10th-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/mob-psycho-100-gets-new-animation-for-10th-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"Mob Psycho 100 Gets New Animation for 10th Anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">A two-minute <em>Mob Psycho 100<\/em> animation has been released in commemoration of the anime\u2019s 10th anniversary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The Reigen and Mob-focused short was storyboarded, written, unit directed, and directed by <strong>Yuzuru Tachikawa <\/strong>(director of <em>Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Detective Conan: Zero the Enforcer<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Blue Giant<\/em>), who directed <em>Mob Psycho 100<\/em>\u2018s first two seasons and assumed the chief director role for Season 3. <em>Mob Psycho 100 <\/em>character designer\u00a0<strong>Yoshimichi Kameda\u00a0<\/strong>handled the animation direction.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The first season of <em>Mob Psycho 100<\/em> began airing back on July 12, 2016, while the third and final season (directed by Takahiro Hasui) arrived in 2022. The anime, an adaptation of the Shogakukan-published manga by <strong>ONE<\/strong>, has the following synopsis from Crunchyroll:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"text--gq6o- text--is-regular--M4487 text--is-l--iccTo\" style=\"padding-left: 40px\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><em>Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. \u201cMob,\u201d is a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper. Mob is determined to live a normal life and keeps his ESP suppressed, but when his emotions surge to a level of 100%, something terrible happens to him! As he\u2019s surrounded by false espers, evil spirits, and mysterious organizations, what will Mob think? What choices will he make?\u00a0<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><em>Mob Psycho 100 <\/em>was produced by <strong>BONES<\/strong> (its production division is now a subsidiary called <strong>BONES FILM<\/strong>) and had\u00a0Hiroshi Seko\u00a0as series composer,\u00a0<strong>Shihoko Nakayama<\/strong>\u00a0as color designer,\u00a0<strong>Ryo Kono<\/strong>\u00a0as background art director,\u00a0<strong>Mayuko Furumoto<\/strong>\u00a0as photography director, and\u00a0Kenji Kawai\u00a0as music composer.\u00a0Setsuo Ito\u00a0is the voice of Mob.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The manga debuted in 2012 in Ura Sunday and ended in 2017 in Manga One.
