Now, the franchise returns with a fresh chapter that blends its signature offbeat humor with a modern satire of biotechnology and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence<\/em> will be released in select cities across the U.S. beginning <strong>August 7<\/strong>, including <strong>Los Angeles<\/strong>, <strong>New York<\/strong>, <strong>Chicago<\/strong>, <strong>San Diego<\/strong>, and others, with additional cities to follow throughout the month. But when the experiment spirals out of control, it unleashes a new generation of killer tomatoes, setting the stage for another outrageous chapter in the long-running cult franchise.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The film features an ensemble cast led by franchise icon <strong>John Astin<\/strong> (<em>The Addams Family<\/em>), reprising his role as Professor Gangreen, alongside <strong>David Koechner<\/strong> (<em>Anchorman<\/em>), <strong>Eric Roberts<\/strong> (<em>The Dark Knight<\/em>), <strong>Catherine Corcoran<\/strong> (<em>Terrifier<\/em>), <strong>Dan Bakkedahl<\/strong> (<em>Veep<\/em>), <strong>Myrna Velasco<\/strong> (<em>Star Wars Resistance<\/em>), <strong>Vern\u00e9e Watson<\/strong> (<em>Shrinking<\/em>, <em>The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air<\/em>), <strong>Paul Bates<\/strong> (<em>Coming to America<\/em>), <strong>Zachary Roozen<\/strong> (<em>Romeo and Juliet Killers<\/em>), <strong>Samantha Bailey<\/strong> (<em>Just Add Magic<\/em>), and <strong>Noor Razooky<\/strong> (<em>The Old Man<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fans attending <strong>San Diego Comic-Con<\/strong> will be among the first to experience <em>Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence<\/em> during the franchise\u2019s official SDCC panel on <strong>Friday, July 24, at 7:15 p.m.<\/strong> in <strong>Room 6A<\/strong> of the <strong>San Diego Convention Center<\/strong>. Attendees will see the world premiere of the film\u2019s official trailer, exclusive footage, participate in a Q&amp;A, enjoy a special appearance by Norman the Killer Tomato, and have the chance to receive exclusive giveaways.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joining the panel will be moderator and producer <strong>Michael Polis<\/strong> (<em>Yo Gabba Gabba!<\/em>), director <strong>David Ferino<\/strong>, original franchise creator <strong>Costa Dillon<\/strong>, and cast members <strong>Dan Bakkedahl<\/strong>, <strong>Myrna Velasco<\/strong>, <strong>Zachary Roozen<\/strong>, <strong>Samantha Bailey<\/strong>, and <strong>Noor Razooky<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to the panel, <em>Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence<\/em> will be featured at the <strong>Atomic Toybox<\/strong> booth (#3917) on the main floor of the <strong>San Diego Convention Center<\/strong>.
