{"id":34899,"date":"2026-07-10T01:36:06","date_gmt":"2026-07-10T05:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/ghost-of-tsushima-legends-anime-gets-character-art-trailer\/"},"modified":"2026-07-10T01:36:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-10T05:36:06","slug":"ghost-of-tsushima-legends-anime-gets-character-art-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/design-providers.com\/rise\/ghost-of-tsushima-legends-anime-gets-character-art-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"Ghost of Tsushima Legends Anime Gets Character Art Trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Aniplex and Crunchyroll have teased the upcoming <em>Ghost of Tsushima Legends<\/em> anime with a character art trailer (dubbed as an official teaser by the latter).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Both videos say that the anime, which is inspired by the open world action-adventure game <em>Ghost of Tsushima <\/em>and its co-op mode <em>Ghost of Tsushima: Legends<\/em>, is \u201ccoming soon.\u201d When the series was unveiled in January 2025, it was announced that it would \u201cpremiere exclusively on Crunchyroll in 2027.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><em>Ghost of Tsushima Legends<\/em> will follow \u201cone of the last remaining samurai as he defends his homeland of Tsushima against the Mongol Empire.\u201d <span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Takanobu Mizuno<\/strong> (<em>Star Wars: Visions<\/em> \u201cThe Duel\u201d) is directing with series composition from NITROPLUS\u2019<strong> Gen Urobuchi<\/strong> (Fate\/Zero light novel author, Puella Magi Madoka Magica scriptwriter, Thunderbolt Fantasy creator et al., Phantom PHANTOM OF INFERNO scenario writer) and character designs from <strong>Takashi Okazaki<\/strong> (<em>Afro Samurai<\/em> manga creator).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><strong>Kamikaze Doga<\/strong> is the animation production studio for the show.<strong> HAYATE<\/strong>, a recently formed joint venture from Aniplex\u00a0and\u00a0Crunchyroll for \u201cplanning, developing, and producing anime content for the Crunchyroll streaming service available worldwide,\u201d is producing in the business\/finance sense.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">The <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sucker Punch Productions-developed <\/span><em style=\"color: initial\">Ghost of Tsushima\u00a0<\/em><span style=\"color: initial\">was originally released in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2020 for PlayStation 4 and came to PlayStation 5 and PC later. <em>Ghost of Tsushima: Legends\u00a0<\/em>was added after launch and received a standalone release in September 2021.
