Tracey Ullman<\/strong> (Robin Hood: Men in Tights<\/em>), Sam Spruell <\/strong>(Fargo <\/em>series), and Jerome Flynn<\/strong> (pictured below in Game of Thrones<\/em>) have signed onto season two of FX\u2019s Alien: Earth<\/strong><\/em>, reports Variety<\/a>. <\/p>\n

They join Peter Dinklage<\/strong> as well as returning star Sydney Chandler <\/strong>and fellow cast members Alex Lawther<\/strong>, Timothy Olyphant<\/strong>, Essie Davis<\/strong>, Babou Ceesay<\/strong>, Samuel Blenkin<\/strong>, Adarsh Gourav<\/strong>, Jonathan Ajayi<\/strong>, Erana James<\/strong>, Lily Newmark<\/strong>, Adrian Edmondson<\/strong>, David Rysdahl<\/strong>, Moe Bar-El<\/strong>, Sandra Yi Sencindiver<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n

Creator Noah Hawley <\/strong>returns as showrunner. <\/p>\n

The move reunites Spruell with Hawley after their work on Fargo<\/em> together, while Flynn reunites with Game of Thrones<\/em> co-star Peter Dinklage. Ullman\u2019s casting is fascinating to me, since she has an extensive comedic background. With so much talent joining the cast, season two of Alien: Earth<\/em> is making it look like we\u2019re in for another banger season (I personally love Alien: Earth <\/em>and the exciting new directions it took the Alien<\/em> franchise). <\/p>\n

In the first season, when the mysterious deep space research vessel USCSS Maginot crash-lands on Earth, \u201cWendy\u201d (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers make a fateful discovery that puts them face-to-face with the planet\u2019s greatest threat.<\/p>\n

Production on Season 2 of Alien: Earth<\/em> is now underway in London\u2019s Pinewood Studios, home to the original 1979 movie,\u00a0Alien 3,<\/em>\u00a0and prequel\u00a0Prometheus,<\/em>\u00a0after Season 1 was filmed in Thailand.\u00a0Pretty interesting, if you ask me. <\/p>\n
