Get ready for Cronenberg summer! Variety<\/a> reports that musician\/icon, Charli xcx<\/strong> (pictured above in The Moment<\/em>), has revealed the tracklist for her upcoming album, Music, Fashion, Film<\/em>. So, why are we reporting on it? Because, listed within is a track that features body horror master, David Cronenberg<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

Yes, that\u2019s right, Charli xcx did a song collaboration with the man who has given us such cringe-inducing nightmares as Videodrome<\/em>, The Fly<\/em>, Scanners<\/em>, and so many more. <\/p>\n

The track is entitled \u201cNo One Lasts Forever featuring David Cronenberg\u201d and can be found at the bottom of the tracklist (last, but certainly not least). <\/p>\n

This shouldn\u2019t come as too much of a surprise, however. For one, Charli xcx\u2019s horror fandom is well documented. She recently appeared in the Faces of Death<\/em> remake\/sequel. Not long ago, I wrote about her love for Cronenberg\u2019s Shivers<\/em>. <\/p>\n

As for Cronenberg, we don\u2019t think of him as an actor first, but he\u2019s had plenty of roles that make an impression. Cronenberg has cameoed in plenty of his own films, while also appearing in Jason X<\/em>, Nightbreed<\/em>, and this year\u2019s Ready or Not 2<\/em>. <\/p>\n

I wouldn\u2019t say Cronenberg is known for his singing voice, though, and now I\u2019m curious to hear if he does, in fact, sing a bit on the track. Either way, that\u2019s one music video I cannot wait to lay my eyeballs on. Hopefully, it\u2019s nice and gross. <\/p>\n
