\n\tPosted on:<\/em> July 7th, 2026\n<\/p>\n Is London calling for Ghostface?<\/p>\n According to a rumour from several reliable sources, that\u2019s where the Scream franchise is heading for its eighth instalment.<\/p>\n In the seventh entry, we were re-introduced to series lead Sidney Prescott, and saw her idyllic life in small-town America upended by a new swath of Ghostface killings.<\/p>\n After making $217 million at the worldwide box-office, a sequel to Scream 7 seemed inevitable. As we\u2019ve reported, Scream 8 entered development shortly after the seventh\u2019s premiere, with Nora and Lila Zuckerman attached to pen the script.<\/p>\n Although still officially said to be in \u201cearly\u201d development, several rumours have suggested Scream 8 is moving faster than reported.<\/p>\n With an early draft of the script purported to exist, the latest nugget we\u2019re hearing is that Scream 8 will be heading for the bright lights of London.<\/p>\n According to a reliable source, the movie will take place around a \u201ccentral location\u201d in England\u2019s capital city.<\/p>\n If true, this will mark the first time a Scream film has taken place outside of the United States.<\/p>\n Further rumours suggest that star Neve Campbell will lead the movie, alongside fellow returnees Courteney Cox and Isabel May.<\/p>\n How and why the characters end up in London is still a mystery, but it\u2019s certainly a unique approach to Scream.<\/p>\n With everything still shrouded in secrecy, we likely won\u2019t know anything for sure for some time yet. However, Ghostface across the pond?
