OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) — <\/span>A Philadelphia man who pleaded guilty to placing hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City Boardwalk was sentenced on Monday.<\/p>\n Harold Perkins learned he will have to spend a year in jail. He will also have to serve five years of probation.<\/p>\n Prosecutors said Perkins placed six hidden cameras in public bathrooms along the Ocean City boardwalk last year.<\/p>\n The devices captured footage of multiple victims – including children – using the restrooms, investigators said.<\/p>\n Hidden camera disguised as pen found in bathrooms on Ocean City boardwalk<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The cameras were found in bathrooms on 6th, 10th and 11th streets.<\/p>\n Authorities said Perkins was arrested on June 20, 2025, after investigators used license plate reader technology to identify and locate him.<\/p>\n He pleaded guilty to two counts of invasion of privacy back in May.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2026 WPVI-TV.
