Japanese singer-songwriter<\/span> Yuuri is performing the main opening theme song for the upcoming <\/span>Thunder 3<\/span> anime series with the single \u201cThunderbolt.\u201d The anime will <\/span>begin streaming on Netflix on July 8, 2026<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Yuuri\u2019s \u201cThunderbolt\u201d will be released digitally worldwide on July 10, 2026 on <\/span>several music streaming platforms<\/span><\/a> such as Apple Music and Spotify. The announcement was made during a panel for <\/span>Thunder 3<\/span> at <\/span>Anime Expo 2026<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Listeners in Japan and the U.S. who pre-save or pre-add the single on Spotify or Apple Music will also receive an exclusive downloadable signed Yuuri promotional artist image.<\/span><\/p>\n

It was previously announced that the anime\u2019s ending theme will be \u201cShururerira\u201d by Japanese singer <\/span>otoha.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Hiroyuki Seshita (<\/span>Ajin: Demin-Human<\/span> chief director, <\/span>Blame!<\/span> and <\/span>KamiErabi GOD.app <\/span>director) is directing the anime series, with <\/span>Hiroshi Seko (<\/span>Witch Hat Atelier, <\/span>Rooster Fighter<\/span>) as series composer.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
