Animation studio <\/span>TRIGGER announced during its panel at Anime Expo 2026 that a fourth project between director <\/span>Hiroyuki Imaishi (<\/span>Cyberpunk: Edgerunners<\/span>) and screenwriter <\/span>Kazuki Nakashima (<\/span>BNA: Brand New Animal<\/span>, <\/span>Back Arrow<\/span>) is in development.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Additional information about the new project was not revealed during the panel. It is not known when the project will debut or what format it will be released in.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a9 TRIGGER Inc.<\/span><\/p>\n TRIGGER also released an English-subtitled video featuring Imaishi and Nakashima, where they confirmed the production of their next work together and encouraged their fans to look forward to it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n Imaishi and Nakashima previously collaborated on the TV anime series <\/span>Gurren Lagann <\/span>in <\/span>2007 and<\/span> Kill l a Kill<\/span> in 2013<\/span>, as well as the 2019 <\/span>Promare\u00a0<\/span>anime film.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n TRIGGER\u2019s follow-up to its <\/span>Cyberpunk: Edgerunner<\/span> anime series, <\/span>Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2<\/span>, is slated to begin streaming on Netflix this coming fall with a total of 10 episodes. A <\/span>new teaser trailer<\/span> and <\/span>Japanese\/English voice cast<\/span> were also announced last week.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, the upcoming second season of <\/span>Delicious in Dungeon <\/span>will premiere in Japan in October 2027 and stream on Netflix.
