So there are some parties happening this weekend. I\u2019m sort of \u201cmeh\u201d about them.<\/p>\n
I haven\u2019t been a big rah-rah fan of July 4 for several years (since\u20262016 maybe? Wonder why?) and for several years it was a very stressful holiday for my dogs, and therefore for us. Our solution for our dogs, if you need help: a Bluetooth speaker turned up very loud playing brown noise<\/a> (the worst name for a pretty good sleeping aid). That would cover a lot of the noise, though the vibrations were tough for them to deal with.<\/p>\n But even though my dogs have moved on to the dog park in the great beyond,\u00a0 this year I\u2019m really<\/em> not into celebrating the US.<\/p>\n I\u2019ve said a few times that I think every hundred years for a country is comparable to 1 year of human development. So we\u2019re 2 and a half this year, and\u2026I think my theory holds a lot of water, honestly.<\/p>\n So for this week\u2019s Friday Video, a Melody Sheep production that was taken down and reposted of Charlie Chaplin\u2019s speech as Adenoid Hynkel from The Great Dictator:<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<\/p>\n \u201cDo not despair.
