Manga Mavericks Books<\/span> has announced the license acquisition of three new manga titles during its <\/span>panel at Anime Expo<\/span> 2026. All three titles will be released in print and digital format throughout the first half of 2027.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Here are the details on the publisher\u2019s <\/span>newest licenses<\/span>:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u00a9 Quick Obake\/TWO VIRGINS Co., Ltd.<\/span><\/p>\n Story and Art: <\/span>Quick Obake<\/span><\/p>\n Release Date: <\/span>February 2027\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Motionless<\/span> is a standalone manga volume published in Japan by TWO VIRGINS. Manga Mavericks Books will publish the manga in an A5 (5.83\u2033 x 8.27\u2033) size and it will be printed in color, similar to the original Japanese release.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Synopsis:\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Make merriment, myth, and more while motionless.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Illustrated by Quick Obake, known in Japan as the mangaka who pioneered \u201cGIF Manga\u201d in which characters move between panels, this collection of short stories perfectly encapsulates all of life\u2019s fun little eccentricities.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Simple artwork belies outrageous stories with a motion all their own.
