\n\tPosted on:<\/em> July 2nd, 2026\n<\/p>\n Halloween: The Game is set to hit consoles this September, so naturally the Halloween brand and all involved are feverishly promoting that.<\/p>\n However, rumblings are afoot that Michael Myers will soon be returning to the big screen\u2026<\/p>\n Although it\u2019s been well documented that Miramax has been developing a Halloween television series, reliable sources are telling us this has been shelved.<\/p>\n The reason given was that the company couldn\u2019t drum up interest from a network or streamer.<\/p>\n Instead, those same sources are telling us that Miramax have instead shifted their focus back to feature films.<\/p>\n After establishing a reliable working relationship with Paramount Pictures via 2026\u2019s Scary Movie, we\u2019re hearing that it\u2019s likely Miramax will partner with them for a new Halloween instalment.<\/p>\n So, when can we expect Halloween to return to theatres?<\/p>\n Well, we\u2019re hearing that a 2028 release date is being eyed, coinciding with the Halloween series\u2019 fiftieth anniversary.<\/p>\n At this stage, we have no idea the creative forces involved, but with the leaking of this info, some updates are expected soon.<\/p>\n Is it too soon for Halloween to return?
