Da Costa Joins Chase Yi\u00a0<\/strong>(Mythic Quest<\/em>) and Sonia Mena<\/strong>\u00a0(Tell Me Lies<\/em>) for Blumhouse and Atomic Monster\u2019s next entry in the franchise. <\/p>\n

The eighth film in the franchise that started with\u00a0Oren Peli<\/strong>\u00a0and his ultra-low-budget 2007 feature, we don\u2019t have any plot details on the next\u00a0Paranormal Activity<\/em>\u00a0at this time.<\/p>\n

The untitled feature is produced by franchise newcomer\u00a0James Wan<\/strong>\u00a0(Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring<\/em>) and directed by\u00a0Ian Tuason<\/strong>\u00a0(Undertone<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Blum will produce for his and Wan\u2019s Blumhouse-Atomic Monster, while Oren Peli produces for his Solana Films. Paramount is co-producing and co-financing with Blumhouse-Atomic Monster.<\/p>\n

The news comes with da Costa hot off her starring role in Girls Like Girls<\/em>, currently in theaters. She joins a cast of rising stars, signalling a new era for the Paranormal Activity<\/em> franchise. <\/p>\n
