\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHalloween Horror Nights tempts guests to step beyond the threshold of pain and pleasure with all-new haunted houses inspired by the first three Hellraiser films that forever changed the genre. This terrifying new experience will transport fans into the twisted world first brought to life by Clive Barker, where desire, suffering and the unknown collide, beginning Friday, August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n

Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights has such sights to show you this year, as they\u2019ve announced that Hellraiser<\/strong><\/em> will be bringing Hell to the annual event in the Fall! <\/p>\n

That\u2019s right. For the first time, Universal\u2019s haunted house showcase is inviting Clive Barker<\/strong>\u2018s Hellraiser<\/em> into the fold. Expect chains. Cenobites. And loads of screams to satisfy ole\u2019 Pinhead\u2019s thirst for good suffering. <\/p>\n

Inspired by\u00a0Hellraiser<\/em>,\u00a0Hellbound: Hellraiser II,<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth<\/em>, guests will enter the iconic Lament Configuration puzzle box, summon the Cenobites and open a gateway to a diabolical dimension where unspeakable horrors await. Fans will experience various locations from the films, including the shadowy attic in Frank Cotton\u2019s family home, the disturbing Channard Institute, and The Labyrinth, where Pinhead and the Cenobites lie in wait for new souls to torment for eternity.<\/p>\n

As if all of this wasn\u2019t big enough news, legendary Pinhead actor Doug Bradley will reprise his character and lend his voice to both haunted houses in Hollywood and Orlando! <\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019m a sucker for Halloween Horror Nights merch, and Hellraiser will of course have a presence in that category. Fans can get their hands on all sorts of limited-release merchandise inspired by the\u00a0Hellraiser\u00a0haunted house, including a T-shirt and a Pinhead acrylic figure, which can be added to the separately sold Infernal Carnival collectible display. These items will be available at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood and will launch tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1, at 9 am PST at\u00a0shopUniversal.com.<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think it can be overstated just how cool this is. We\u2019re used to seeing the likes of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees patrolling the Universal parks during Halloween Horror Nights. But Pinhead? Butterball? Maybe even that goofy CD Cenobite? Not to mention, Doug Bradley reprising his role and lending his voice? Hell. Yes. <\/p>\n
