Stuck in a shitty situation, you could say. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ashby Gentry<\/strong> (<em>My Life with the Walter Boys<\/em>), <strong>Misha Osherovich<\/strong> (<em>Freaky<\/em>), <strong>Toks Olagundoye<\/strong> (<em>Frasier<\/em>), <strong>Lorena Gonzalez, <\/strong>and <strong>Shavvon Lin<\/strong> also star. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The film hails from Bad Grey and Plain Text and marks the debut feature of Iranian writer\/director<strong>\u00a0Farbod Ardebili<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Producers are brothers Dane and Cole Eckerle for their label Bad Grey, alongside Daniel Brandt and Mark Finley of Plain Text. John Henry Hinkel also produced. Executive producers include Tom Spriggs and Atil Singh, Lorena E. Gonzalez, Erin O\u2019Connor and Maurice Black, Katherine Kendall, Shavvon Lin, and Jimmy Cai.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Said Brandt, \u201c<strong>When we met Flula, we knew he was the perfect person to bring our tech-centric Patrick Bateman to life<\/strong>. <strong>We view this one as a five-minutes-into-the-future tech world update of <em>American Psycho<\/em> infused with a <em>The Thing<\/em>-style monster that is really going to freak people out. <em>The American Winner<\/em> is a wild blend of horror and satire that pulls no punches and is chock full of relevant commentary that we feel will resonate with audiences today.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wow, talk about a tease. <em>American Psycho<\/em> meets <em>The Thing<\/em>? Say no more! That sounds like a winner that\u2019s right up this horror fan\u2019s alley. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As for Kotsur, genre fans likely know him well as the dad in this year\u2019s killer<em> Primate<\/em> movie, though he is best known perhaps for his role in the critically acclaimed <em>Coda<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll definitely be keeping our eyes on this one.
