LEWES, Del. (WPVI) — <\/span>Delaware Senator Chris Coons is recovering after being involved in a car crash in Lewes, Sussex County, on Sunday.<\/p>\n His office released a statement saying a driver experienced a medical incident and collided with several cars, including one in which Coons was a passenger.<\/p>\n Coons was taken to Beebe Hospital for treatment and has since returned home.<\/p>\n According to his office, he is expected to make a full and swift recovery.<\/p>\n Copyright \u00a9 2026 WPVI-TV.
