Trombone Shorty, July 17<\/h2>\n

Bringing his diversity of styles to the Fillmore next month, Troy Andrews, aka Trombone Shorty, will take Philly\u2019s stage with Larkin Poe on Friday, July 17.\n<\/p>\n

Andrews, now 40, comes from New Orleans and performed with Bo Diddley at age 4<\/a>. Shorty\u2019s \u201cLet\u2019s Go Get \u2018Em\u201d tour comes to the City of Brotherly Love with his band Orleans Avenue. Tickets are available now<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n

Last year, they performed \u201cHere Come the Girls\u201d on \u201cThe View.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Shinedown, July 23<\/h2>\n

Singer Brent Smith, guitarist Zach Myers and crew will bring their own brand of hard rock and the latest Shinedown tour to the Xfinity Mobile Arena on July 23.\n <\/p>\n

Expect pyrotechnics, a handful of songs from the band\u2019s latest album, \u201cEI8HT,\u201d and at least one Lynyrd Skynyrd cover<\/a>. Coheed and Cambria and From Ashes to New are also on the bill.\n<\/p>\n

Smith & Myers performed at the \u201cPierre Robert: A Show of Life\u201d in Philadelphia at the end of last year.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cIf there is one person, and one spirit, and one embodiment of authenticity and love, it is the spirit of Pierre Robert,\u201d Smith said at the December tribute<\/a>. \u201cPierre isn\u2019t gone because he\u2019s everywhere.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Muse, July 29<\/h2>\n

One of the most powerful active trios in rock music rolls into Camden before July is over. The English band is led by singer\/guitarist Matt Bellamy, whose searing guitar solos and operatic vocals shape the theatrical sound of Muse.\n<\/p>\n

The band is supporting its new album, \u201cThe Wow! Signal,\u201d on a tour of the same name.\n<\/p>\n

Tickets are available now<\/a> for the show at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. Opening acts include Bloc Party and The Temper Trap.\n<\/p>\n
