Here\u2019s a weird one for you this afternoon. Deadline<\/a> reports that Anirudh Pisharody<\/strong> (pictured above in \u201cNever Have I Ever\u201d) has wrapped a lead role in Chronos<\/em><\/strong>, described as an \u201cindie thriller\u201d with a pretty curious premise. <\/p>\n

The film \u201cfollows a father who, when his family disappears on a Greek beach, is lured by an ancient device to a hidden island trial. Partnered with a fallen god of time and hunted by the goddess of fate, he must reach Olympus before the gods erase the people he loves.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tongayi Chirisa<\/strong> (\u201cAnne Rice\u2019s Mayfair Witches\u201d), Eleni Sotiropoulou<\/strong>, and Lisa Morrell\u00a0<\/strong>also star. <\/p>\n

I say weird because, well, that premise just sounds wild, doesn\u2019t it? Probably not horror, but hunted on an island by a goddess, facing who knows what other creatures from Greek mythology\u2026Chronos<\/em> could be a project worth keeping an eye on if you\u2019re like me and excited out of your mind for another Greek myth adaptation, Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey<\/em>. <\/p>\n

Gianinni Semedo Moreira<\/strong> directed the film. <\/p>\n

Producers are Samantha Gao and Moreira.<\/p>\n
