Toho has released a special commemorative video for <\/span>My Hero Academia<\/span> in celebration of Hero Day in Japan and the anime series\u2019 10th anniversary, highlighting the heroic journey of the series protagonist, Izuku Midoriya.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The two and a half minute video has English subtitles and features the song \u201cYou Say Run,\u201d from the anime series, which was composed by <\/span>Yuki Hayashi.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n In addition, Toho Animation announced that it will be hosting a \u201cMy Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Panel\u201d at Anime Expo 2026 on July 4, 2026 at 2:30 PM PST. The panel will include appearances by <\/span>Daiki Yamashita, who voices Deku, and<\/span> Koki Uchiyama, who voices Tomura Shigaraki.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The panel will also have the world premiere of the <\/span>My Hero Academia: I am a hero too<\/span> short anime, which adapts additional pages of manga material from the <\/span>My Hero Academia: Ultra Age<\/span> fan book. It will begin <\/span>streaming in Japan on August 3, 2026<\/span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The first TV anime season of <\/span>My Hero Academia<\/span> debuted in 2016, while the eighth and final season was released in October 2025 and ended the following December. The series also inspired four anime films, including 2024\u2019s <\/span>My Hero Academia The Movie: You\u2019re Next<\/span>. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime series and films in select countries and territories worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The anime\u2019s bonus episode \u201c<\/span>More<\/span>\u201d was released worldwide on May 2, 2026.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n The superhero action manga series by <\/span>Kohei Horikoshi ran in Shueisha\u2019s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine from July 7, 2014 to August 5, 2024. Forty-two total tankobon volumes were published in Japan.
