For Hope for Haiti, that commitment is rooted in long-term, community-led work that supports families, students, farmers, and the environment.<\/p>\n<p>One recent example took place on May 1 in Morency, where Hope for Haiti commemorated Haitian Agriculture and Labor Day with the theme, \u201cLet\u2019s cultivate today, build tomorrow.\u201d The event brought together 500 participants, including students from five partner schools (four of which traveled to Morency for the occasion), parents, farmers, and school leaders.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read More &gt;&gt;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">In Case You Missed It: Our Work with Americares<\/h3>\n<p>Hope for Haiti has received grant funding from Americares, the global health and disaster relief organization, to expand its mobile healthcare services, improving access to primary care and diabetes treatment for under-resourced communities in southern Haiti.<\/p>\n<p>From May 1 through October 31, 2026, Hope for Haiti will conduct 60 mobile medical clinics across the Sud Department, delivering an estimated 6,660 patient consultations. The initiative will include 48 primary care clinics and 12 specialized diabetes clinics, aimed at addressing both immediate health needs and the growing burden of chronic disease.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStrong partnerships are essential to expanding access to care,\u201d said Americares Vice President of Regional Programs for the Americas, Eric Jovan P\u00e9rez-L\u00f3pez. \u201cWe are proud to support Hope for Haiti\u2019s mobile healthcare efforts, which are helping to bring critical services closer to patients and improving health outcomes in communities with limited access to care.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Continue Reading &gt;&gt;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Upcoming Hike for Haiti Events in Greenwich and Washington DC<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our annual\u00a0Hike for Haiti, supporting education and healthcare, continues!
