\n\tLady Gaga stopped by The Late Show<\/em> to perform her song \u201cVanish Into You.\u201d Hot off her win for Artist of the Year at the MTV VMAs on Sunday night, Gaga performed an intimate, emotional rendition of the piano-led ballad. <\/p>\n \n\t\u201cVanish Into You\u201d appeared on Lady Gaga\u2019s most recent LP, Mayhem<\/em>, which dropped in March. The song was written by Gaga alongside Andrew Watt, Henry Walter, and Michael Polansky, and produced by Gaga with Watt and Cirkut. The track was notably the first song she wrote for the album and seemingly references her fianc\u00e9 Michael Polansky. \u201cIn \u2018Vanish Into You,\u2019 I imagine that I just want to disappear into the person I love most,\u201d\u00a0the singer told ELLE<\/em><\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/p>\n \n\tLady Gaga recorded Mayhem<\/em> at Rick Rubin\u2019s Shangri-la Studios. \u201cThe album started as me conquering a fear: to return to the pop music my earliest fans loved,\u201d she said in a statement. \u201cThis record allowed me to reclaim a huge part of myself.
