The anime is a sequel to the 1988-1999 series <em>Yoroi Den Samurai Troopers<\/em>\/<em>Ronin Warriors<\/em>, with a premise that sees five young samurai coming to humanity\u2019s aid when demons invade after the unravelling of a seal on their dimension.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The original\u00a0<em>Yoroi Den Samurai Troopers\u00a0<\/em>(also known as <em>Ronin Warriors<\/em>) previously inspired three OVA, as well as manga and novels.
