HAVERTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) — <\/span>Saturday’s Winning Powerball Numbers are: 11-23-44-61-62 Powerball: 17<\/strong><\/p>\n With the Powerball jackpot climbing to a staggering $1.8 billion, people have ideas on what they would do with the money.<\/p>\n “I would open a university,” said Lisa Presley of South Philadelphia.<\/p>\n “I’d take all my family and we’d just go traveling,” said Lynette Kortue of South Philadelphia.<\/p>\n For some, it’s all about catching up on expenses.<\/p>\n “Pay off my house, and pay off my bills okay, that’s what I really, really need to do,” said Priscilla Cosby of South Philadelphia.<\/p>\n Others say family would come first.<\/p>\n “Pay off the house, take care of the kids and the family,” said John Bagby of Overbrook.<\/p>\n And then, there are those who would keep their win completely secret.<\/p>\n “I’d disappear,” said John Downs of Havertown. “No one would know. I’d send some postcards later on, but other than that, I’m out phone disconnected, email gone, I’m not responding.”<\/p>\n Some would share the news, but carefully.<\/p>\n “I probably would tell people, but I’d have to make sure I have all my ducks in a row in terms of financial advisors,” said Elena Perri of Havertown.<\/p>\n For most, a jackpot win is just a dream. According to Powerball.com, the odds of winning the grand prize are just 1 in 292 million.<\/p>\n A million-dollar jackpot, matching all 5 white balls is 1 in 11 million. Your odds improve to 1 in 38 for the smallest prize, $4. But the odds aren’t stopping people from trying their luck.<\/p>\n “Definitely retire, buy a place down the shore, pay off college tuition for all my kids,” said Jim Deignan of Havertown.<\/p>\n Some say they’d use their winnings to give back.<\/p>\n “There’s enough to share with everybody. There are so many unfortunate people the hungry, and children,” said Elaine Stinger of Havertown.<\/p>\n “I would give a lot to CHOP.
