I was almost annoyed by the amount of time we were spending talking about me. I wanted to hear about him! I mean its Dave Chappelle, why the hell did he want to know anything about me? I certainly didn\u2019t want to waste the small bit of time we had talking about my life. Most conversations are 50\/50 I get it. David Khari Webber Chappelle<\/strong> (\/\u0283\u0259\u02c8p\u025bl\/<\/a>; born August 24, 1973) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer. With his incisive observations, he has been described as \u201cpoetically unfiltered and sociopolitically introspective, with an ability to illuminate and interrogate agonizing and poignant topics.\u201d[3]<\/a><\/sup> Chappelle is the recipient of numerous accolades, including four Emmy Awards<\/a> and three Grammy Awards<\/a> as well as the Mark Twain Prize<\/a>. He is known for his satirical comedy sketch series Chappelle\u2019s Show<\/a><\/em> (2003\u20132006). The series, co-written with Neal Brennan<\/a>, ran until Chappelle quit the show in the middle of production of the third season.
