A new visual for the upcoming second season of Clevatess has been unveiled, highlighting the dragon Dark Beast Lord, Vordein. Season two will begin airing in Japan on July 8, 2026.

Crunchyroll also recently posted an animated music video for Clevatess Season 2 on its YouTube channel, featuring the song “Male-bomb” by British rock band Static Dress.
Kiyotaka Taguchi is directing the anime’s second season, with Keigo Koyanagi as series composer, Soichiro Sako as character designer, Natsuko Kondo (new) as sub-character designer, and Nobuaki Nobusawa as music composer. Lay-duce is handling the animation production.

The first season aired during the Summer 2025 anime season between July 2025 to September 2025.
Clevatess is based on the dark fantasy manga by King of Thorn creator Yuji Iwahara. It debuted on August 12, 2020 and has also been published on Media Factory’s Comic Alive+ website, starting April 24, 2024. Twelve shinsoban volumes have been released in Japan as of April 28, 2026, which are published by KADOKAWA. A 13th print volume will be released in the country on July 28, 2026. LINE Digital Frontier publishes the 12 digital volumes.
