The recently announced Re:bel Robotica anime has gotten a teaser trailer and teaser visual, as well as a 2027 broadcast start date and production credit details.
The staff includes director Koki Onoue and chief director Shin Onuma (Deep Insanity: The Lost Child and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma ILLYA: Licht – The Nameless Girl director), with the animation production studio being SILVER LINK.. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi (The Misfit of Demon King Academy, Deep Insanity: The Lost Child) is the character designer, while sci-fi author Ryo Yoshigami, who is credited for story and world design cooperation on the original Re:bel Robotica multimedia project, is the series composer.

The Re:bel Robotica project has been around since 2019 and includes two Shinchosha novels and a serialized novel. Its setting is 2050 Japan and features the so-called Meta Reality, which blends the real and the virtual. People use MR sensory nerves to perceive MR Objects with the five senses, but highschooler Taiki has a congenital MR bug that prevents him from experiencing Meta Reality. One day, Taiki is saved from a soft toy-like MR bug by the AI Robotika Lily. The two then search for the reason behind humans turning into MR monsters called Kiramon and try to restore them
Illustrator Mika Pikazo created the project and also handled the drafts and character designs.
