The Aikatsu franchise is getting an Aikatsu Stars! anime film in early Spring 2027. The movie is titled Aikatsu Stars! ~Hoshiboshi no Progress~ and has a teaser trailer and teaser visual released.

Teruo Sato (Aikatsu Stars!) is directing the anime with character designs by Yukiko Aikei (Aikatsu Stars!) and a script by Yuko Kakihara (Aikatsu Stars! series composer). BN Pictures is credited with the planning, original work, and production.

The Aikatsu Stars! TV anime debuted in 2016. BN Pictures describes the synopsis as such:

Yotsuboshi Academy is an idol school, where the top four stars are known as S4 and get to be active as idols. Yume and the other first-year students aim to become part of the S4.

Aikatsu! is an idol franchise that began in 2012 with the Bandai trading card arcade game Data Carddass Aikatsu!. The first anime series in the franchise also debuted that year.

Last year saw the release of crossover anime film Aikatsu! x PriPara THE MOVIE -Deai no Kiseki !-.
