The upcoming Mashle: Magic and Muscles Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc has gotten a teaser trailer and a January 2027 broadcast start window. A teaser visual was previously revealed in May.
The anime is the third season of the Mashle: Magic and Muscles anime adaptation, coming after the 2023 first season and 2024’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc. Mashle: Magic and Muscles is based on Hajime Komoto‘s manga, which follows the magicless Mashle as he attends a magic academy.
Like previous seasons, Mashle: Magic and Muscles Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc is directed by Tomoya Tanaka returns to direct at A-1 Pictures with Yosuke Kuroda as series composer and Masaru Yokoyama as music composer. Chiaki Furuzumi (Solo Leveling and Engage Kiss sub-character designer) is the character designer for the new season.
The Shueisha-published Mashle: Magic and Muscles manga ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2020 and to 2023 and has been collected into 18 tankobon volumes. Viz Media describes the synopsis as such:
Mash just wants to live in peace with his father in the forest. But the only way he’ll ever be accepted in the magic realm is by attending magic school and becoming a Divine Visionary—an exceptional student revered as one the chosen. But without an ounce of magic to his name, Mash will have to punch his way to the top spot.
