A third main trailer for the ongoing The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch TV anime series has been revealed, previewing the second cour, its new theme songs, and an additional cast member. The anime began broadcasting in Japan on April 12, 2026 and will run for two consecutive cours.
The theme songs highlighted in the trailer include the newly announced opening theme “∞ Retto-Sei” by Nanawo Akari and ending theme “Twilight Magic” by Shoko Nakagawa, which was previously announced earlier this May.
In addition, comedian Attack Nishimoto has been cast as the voice of Ursa Minor. Nishimoto is part of the Japanese comedy group Gerrardon

Naoyuki Tatsuwa (Nisekoi, the upcoming There Is Also a Hole in the Student Organization!) is directing the anime series, with Midori Goto (Mr. Villain’s Day Off, BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! co-scriptwriter) as series composer and Takayuki Onoda (Hortensia Saga) as character designer. LIDENFILMS is handling the animation production.
The fantasy manga series by Yosuke Kaneda first debuted on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website on March 16, 2022. It has released 14 tankobon volumes as of March 2026, with a 15th volume set to be released in Japan on July 9, 2026. K Manga digitally publishes the manga in English.
